I am looking for something similar to soundforge, I want to record something and traktor record is shit, so I was looking for a good alternative for soundforge on a MAC.

Any ideas appreciated

Audacity is actually pretty good

if you are using hardware, the garage band that comes with your mac is not bad.

garageband.. never though about it lol

i don't know if you can route traktor (don't use it, don't like it) to it though. It will deffo record via line in.

audacity is great, just cos it's free doesn't mean it's krap!

soundbooth would be another option, not sure if it can do what you want tho, never used it.
