I want to know if TA's here in New York buy records. Some of us could hang out at the store and listen to new stuff. Kinda like record buying buddies. I know I shop for records once a month and try to hit up as many stores around the city. Anybody interested? Just an idea. Oh, and don't forget to vote in my poll. Thanks.

there's a couple places you can go in the city...
satellite on browery
and house of trance on st. marks (b/t 2nd and 1st aves.)

and breakbeat science on East 9th (between 1&2)

throb at 211 east 14th st

i have only been to satellite once and no ther ones in nyc.
i usually order most of mine or go to the local shop

hmmm..house of trance is really psychedelic though they do have a small section of what they call "house." i didnt quite search through them but i did see PVD in there so you get the idea. now throb at union square i know sells a shitload of vinyl(in the actual store that is), and also has alot of goa/psychedelic stuff, though their website has a good selection of all kinds of electronic music available on cd as well. anyone know any others that are exclusive electronic music shops in the city or vicinity?
