Clyde77 want to get 2 SL1200 MK5s. I say, why not help a NYTA in need. So I am suggesting everyone contribute some money for him. I am not saying let the NYTA buy tables for him. We can help him buying those tables. After all, helping a friend is helping yourself.

I got my first turntable in May '03, and it took me 5 months to save up enough cash to buy a second. Amazing what patience and saving can do, its also that much more valuable and important to you when you do it yourself. Than it took me 4 more months to get the Xone:62, and the only reason why I got that quicker was because my birthday is in Dec. Than it took me another 5 more months to get carts and headphones. And I dont wanna hear... "You got a good job that pays well", dude, I make like $120-130 every 2 weeks.
