I honestly think they could have made a great film out of it, but the guy who directed it also did Mortal Kombat & Solider - not the best choice in the world.

If they would have tapped Ridley Scott (Alien) or James Cameron (Aliens) it would have had so much more potential - both of those were great movies.

damn...i wanted to get really stoned and watch it...probly gonna save my $ now too

The were some really cool scenes, but the movie was paced badly. The beginning was a bit too long, and the carnage in the movie lasted for about half as long as it should have. Otherwise, I have no real complaints. Considering the idea of the movie, they did well with what they had to work with.

Not to spoil for anyone, but I think the movie would have been way better if they had made it take place back in the times of the ancient civilization, when the hunt was full throttle.
