Can't make it
I get to the airport this morning to find out that the computer glitches and grounded all incoming and outgoing flights to Chicago, st. Louis, and NY. They didn't announce anything till noon saying that everything is back on track and they're going to accommodate everyone.
Well since I fly standby under the old man's employment benefit, I'm the last person they care about. I waited around the airport since 9:00am trying to see if I could find some way of getting to NY. But they have to accommodate all the paying passengers first before they could let me go on. Not to mention all the flights were almost full before this whole mess happened. To make a long story short they just told me that their was no way I was going to make it on a flight to NY. I tried one last flight thinking maybe they were wrong but I got bumped. So...I'm stuck in Dallas and not going anywhere.
I hope you guys have a good time, I wish Victor the best of luck in everything he does. I wish I could've celebrated the magic and life he brought to the the NYC nightlife. You guys be safe, we'll hammer out something else. I know I will be there soon (most likely November) so no worries  . I wish I could've seen you guys. Love you and take care.
