i'm surprised no good halloween parties have popped up yet in promotion threads, etc..
i dunno, i'm skeptical that pacha will just be a glitzed up version of sf...but that's not news to anyone's ears..
its just gunna have all the world's house DJs that Crobar doesnt already have.... we need some more lineups like this past Friday @ Spirit.... truly amazing.

morillo's a great dj, but i wonder how he'll handle actually running a club (and it's not like his partners p. diddy and mo vaughn will be of much help).
There's an article on it in Pacha magazine. When I was in Virgin (14th St.) last weekend, they still had boxes of them for free in the Dance section downstairs. If I recall correctly, Morillo said it's mostly going to be house, that he'll be playing 2x a month, and that there'd also be some techno. I don't recall any indication that any of the trance guys will be playing, but I could be wrong.
Did anyone else notice that the link has a story on Victor Dinaire and his trance revolution, too?

WE FINALLY AGREE ON SOMETHING
Definitly see this opening on New Years Eve with a Subliminal Sessions event. Considering that Morillo has no gig lined up for that night as well is a good sign. Although this could be the back up plan if they cant open it before mid-november/october(which I think is a long shot).
I do think whenever it does get open it will be a great place to party. Pacha clubs/nights in Europe are the shit if they get 1% of the vibe from those parties here your GOLDEN<-my word of the week....its very ghey

yeah i don't see it opening til a couple months from now just because we haven't heard anything about parties yet. NYE with morillo would be amazing!
BTW, all pacha clubs only play house, nothing else, so don't expect anything but house (i know vlad won't complain about that one )

Not true. Pacha Ibiza used to have a Perfecto night there some years back. I saw Oakie there for the Perfecto opening night.
