Is this just me, but isn't the Mexican Liga better than the English Premier Soccer?
Everytime I watch mexican soccer teams play it seems they are trying harder. When I watch the English Premier it seems like they are walking all the time. In my opinion the Mexican League is better than the English and any other European league for soccer. So what do you guys think? European soccer more for people who enjoy watching million dollar players playing as though they aren't trying or mexicans who seem to be trying and the action is much more intense.

walking all the time?! in the bloody super-fast premiership?! you should see some matches from the brazilian championship, now that's good for sleeping
anyway i don't watch mexican football, dunno even which channels broadcast mexican games, i don't think any channel here does it. it's probably under-rated as mexico usually has a good national team that almost consists only of players who play in their country. but i really really doubt it's at the EPL/Serie A/La Liga level. anyway, even it's faster, fast play doesn't mean better play neither more effort. it's just a different style of play, less tactical i'd guess.

I would like to say how much I respect you for saying this. The biggest misconception about Brazilian soccer is that their league is as flashy as their NT. The league is corrupt, boring, unatractive and most of all unpassionate.
Thank you for saying this, I agree more than words can say.

yes true I tried watchin some Brazillian games on GOLTV but their style just pisses me off haha.
But effective? In the last Libertadores Cup the 2 finalist were from Brazil.
I havnt gotten into the Mexican league, which is weird cause alot of Colombians play there like Luis Gabriel Rey who scores goals like crazy over there.
Premier league dosnt have a boring style,I dunno what games youve been watching, but they do seem to resemble a game of volleyball, constantly balls are kicked in the air.
off topic but for the people that live here...dont the Univision anouncers suck? whats up with the guy sayin goooool aso aso aso aso aso, sounds like he s sayin asshole asshole asshole
Telemundo better buy the rights for the world Cup so we can hear Andres Cantor instead...

There were occasions when I would just mute the TV. The commentators suck. Both in Telemundo and in Univision. But yes, Telemundo is far better than Univision. Plus, I saw a guy working two weeks ago in Telemundo that used to work for Televisa(where the best soccer commentators are). So that's going to be good.
I'm afraid Univision already has the rights to the world cup.
Back to Univision, the guy you're talking about is Pablo Ramírez. Yes, he has no talent. He tries so hard to be original and colorful and he fails time after time. Let's be honest, Pablo doesn't enjoy doing his job. He doesn't live the sport. I hope he gets fired before the world cup.
I don't understand why Jorge Ramos was fired from Univision. He worked during a tournament, I forgot which. And after the tournament was over they fired him. He's better than Pablo. But he already has a show with Fox Sports.
