first test was unlucky for england, dominated 4 out of 5 days & fell just short, this match pakistan seem to have made a good start, but afridi is hit & miss, and flintoff & pietersen owe us innings, so we'll see how it unfolds.

HATE Inzamam.
Australia and the baggy greens are still the best team in the world. |
Inzy may have a good cricket mind, but there is absolutely no way he should be captain. Last summer in Australia showed that. When he was on the field the team was down, he would argue and criticise his players, his head was always down, he would lazily stroll between fielding positions. Very VERY bad example for his team, and it rubbed off on the rest of the players.
However when he was off the field and the vice wsa in charge, the chatter was up, the team was enthusiastic, jogged between positions, supported each other, and generally played better with less fieldign mistakes etc.
The Paki coach (can't think of who it is atm) needs to take a leaf from the Greg Chappell book and have enough courage to drop Inzy from the team, or at least from captaincy.

the indian captain was dropped cause he sucked for the last 2 yrs..... inzi just scored 2 centuries for his team... and getting dropped after that ? he was a noob in australia... but right now hes gotten better...much better to have beaten the 2nd best test team in the world.
pak coach is bob woolmer.... and he is for surely better than greg chappel

series over, 2-0 to pakistan
my thoughts.
Inzaman getting run out twice, priceless
Shoaib is a chucker, I don't care what people say, that action is wrong.
Pakistan fans are so fickle. 2 examples include in the 2nd test match, halfway through the day, Afridi came into bat. Flintoff bowled him first bowl, 90% of the ground just went home. Akmal makes his 100 in this match, they go home straight away. They like it when they're winning but otherwise don't and some of their actions are just weird
Pitches were awful, I've seen more life in the bangladesh bowling attack, and with cheats like Afridi breaking the pitch up not a lot can be done at times.
Pakistan are good at home, and their fans believe them better than anyone in the world, but as any cricket fan knows, they get nosebleeds away from home and don't do well away in conditions what don't suit them. We'll see how good this team is when they come here next summer.
