Best player I've ever seen. Not really even close. Classic case of an injury ruining a career, but at least he had a good one already before it all started. Besides--what better way to wreck your wrist than making a ridiculous catch, flying into the outfield wall? Signature Griffey.

We used to all wear our hats backwards for any and all HR derbies. I even learned to switch-hit, so I could imitate him.

Sad to see him go like this. I just hope he doesn't get lost in the 'all-time' discussions.
