According to some internet forums and a Youtube movie, 4 people were killed and 9 people were injured after a shooting during a gig from Carl Cox in Venezuela. An unknown gunman opened the fire during the 'Red Noise' event in La Rinconada Terrace in Caracas. Superstar DJ Carl Cox was just 10 minutes busy with his set when the gunman started shooting around.
So far there is no official news report from this horrible incident, but forum messageboards around the world are mentioning this story.
Carl Cox comment:
"I am deeply shocked and still stunned by the events of this Saturday [3rd November]. My condolences go out to victims that were caught up in this horrific act that took place at this gig. I am informed that it was gang related and feel so sad that anybody would act in such a manner when the event was full of 7000 people having fun! I will try my best to continue on the tour across South America however deeply shocked and shaken I am."
The VJ from the party posted the following footage on Youtube during Sunday the 4th. The shoots are audible at 0.13 seconds into the first movie. Please note that this videos features excessive graphical violence. Viewer discretion is advised.

"Last nigh, 15 meter from me when Carl Cox started his show and 10 minutes into it some one started to shot every one. I sounded like firecrackers, so fast I didn't think was a gun. Everybody started to run like crazy.
I was in the main, doing my visuals and filming the show. I just grabbed the camera and started to film everything what was going on.
3 dead body's on the floor, a young guy, a woman and a man. The husband of the woman was shot as well in the leg. Several others people as well but they managed to run".

On en a déjà parlé hier toute la journée.
Moi ce que je trouve incroyable c'est qu'on s'insurge de ce qu'il se passe dans une boite de nuit à Caracas, alors que dans la rue là-bas c'est tout le temps comme ça et tout le monde s'en fout.
Faudrait copier-coller le post de d&b, celui où il se moque un peu de Cox, histoire d'apaiser l'atmosphère...

+1, c'est beaucoup de bruit pour pas grand chose.
OK pour Carl Cox ça sort de l'ordinaire, mais pas pour les gens qui habitent sur place.

oui je sais c'est pas bien de faire de l'humour blablabla..., mais bon ce qui est drôle dans l'histoire c'est quand même que tout le monde s'indigne de ça principalement parce que c'est horrible des types qui meurent au milieu d'une soirée comme ça, ils étaient là pour s'amuser toussa, alors que la même chose dans la rue 150 fois par jour tous les jours ça fait même pas lever la tète à un troupeau de mangouste.
enfin bon dès demain tout le monde aura oublié pourquoi il s'était indigné aujourd'hui.
