Hey everybody.
Greetings from a first timer here. If anyone could tell me what can I use to begin with, I will really appreciate it. So far I have:
- Reason 2.5 Which I use for bass lines and drum loops.
- Cubase SX Which I really can't use, because I dont know how.
- Triangle II as a virtual synth, it doesn't help me a lot but I can make some cool melodies in it.
Please, if anyone could tell me where can I find some good tutorials. I have read most of the threads specially the one that explains all synths available.
Also, I'm having problems, doing the downtempos and that drum part before the climax...any programs, any help??? PLEASE!!!

Must be hard to pay that much money for all these programs and not being able to figure out how they work.
I know how to do it in logic and sx (in sx you godda use the mastertrack)
I started one day, yes, but I tried things for myself so while you search for that 1 thing, you learn 10 other things.

Wow that's like a thousand bucks you spent on software without knowing how to use it. I wish I could throw money away like that.
As stated by DeZmA, I too started one day. My start day didn't begin by asking a question that was already answered. Honestly, I don't see why new people create new threads asking for help when a simple search would probably give them an answer they were looking for, and then some. Not only does it save yourself the time of waiting for replies, it also saves you from looking like someone who can't be bothered to do some research on his or her own.

Cubase, just like any other good sequencer out there, rocks once you learn how to use it, not once you get a midi keyboard. It sounds as if you're projecting. Don't do that.
