Hey anyone use Novation automap?

Hey gang

I just got a novation nocturn and it comes with the automap 2.0 software. This worked fine but it said on novation i should update which i did but then it started crashing when i was recording automation just hanging my cubase sx3. Anyway i couldnt find anything on novations website the answerbase bit so i rolled back my system to when i had original.

This fixed it but now the automap window is always minimized and cant be pulled up. It works ok but only if i never want to change anything ever.

The view button on my hardware just brings it up in the task bar not the actual window.

Anyone had similar automap issues?

I use Automap 3.0 (not pro) and have no issues with it. I do not have any hardware, however I'll be hooking up my Radias today when it arrives so I'll let you know how it does.

I used to own the xiosynth and its build quality was great...loved the feel of the semi-weighted keys. My next midi controller will be one of their keyboards.

I have a random automap question.

Logic 8.02
Automap 3.2
reMOTE SL keyboard

So, I have the remote SL running in template 38 (automap). Everything works great between the keyboard, automap server, and plug-in parameters. Great.

Now, the problem is that in parallel, the Remote SL is also sending midi CC controller data when I turn the knobs. For example, I'll have a remote SL knob mapped to a filter cutoff. As i turn the knob and manipulate the cut off, logic is also seeing CC#10 data and is fucking with the Logic Mixer ALSO!

Does anyone know how to tell the automap knobs NOT to send MIDI CC data, and just interact with the Auotmap Server software?

The only band aide I've been able to employ is by going into the Environment 'Clicks and Ports' view. And rather than taking the SUM of midi inputs and passing them into the sequencer, just mapping Port 1, and the Caps Lock Keyboard. That seems to solve it, but i never dreamed it would have been such a bitch to set up.
