an arp is basically a chord, but instead of all the notes played simultaneously, they're played after one another. so make yourself some chords that go along with your tune, break them up so they go from:
-lowest note to highest
-highest note to lowest
or from lowest, to highest, and back down to lowest
the notes themselves should probably be 16th notes, and the amount of notes can really be anything: try stacking a short arpeggio with a long one, on seperate synth patches:
for synths, they should generally be short decay / low release on the VCA, for the filter, doesnt really matter, you can use whatever filter settings you want.
