I get it... but how to make a sound in cubase hehe
i have no idea with cubase.. at all...
can u tell me how? hehe |
if you have been using floops for a while, why on earth would you want to change host to something you have absolutely no idea how to use? host applications wont make your music better by default just cuz you use them. until you can push every feature of floops to its absolute limit i see no point in trying to relearn an entirely new interface. it is indeed all to do with preference.
tranc3 i think thats a bit harsh, my uni's music department has a few comps with logic on it. even with the manual i found it all a little too much for my fruity shaped brain. but i guess thats just cuz im used to doing things the floops way. logic has its own interface that some musicians have become acustomed to and feel comfortable using. im just not one of them.

Here's a tip.
Buy the software. That way, since you've invested alot of your own time and money in it, you will have a greater incentive to master using the software.
I use logic and love it. I don't think the learning curve is too steep. It has shortcomings, but the included plug-ins are great and its a pretty flexible architecture.
If you're composing entirely in the software realm (i.e. no hardware synths, no vocal or instrument recordings, no DSP cards, no hardware FX, etc.) then you'd be fine sticking with fruity loops.
