How do i get 5.1/Surround sound in my tunes?

I was wonderin if theres anyway i can get a plug in or something that lets me add surround sounds to my tracks, like having certain sounds that come out of the rear speakers etc? Any input is as always appreciated ;-)

I had some odd plugin a couple of hours ago that did surround audio.. unfortunately im a moron and deleted it. I'll go on a little hunt for it, its called Qcreator I think.

Scratch that, I just found out qcreator is a stupid impulse-based reverb program, not a surround mixer. grr. Sorry to get your hopes up man.
