Thanks for the comments!
The only reason I'm interested in Andromeda is of course the fact that it's analog. No VA can beat analog sound-wise with similar specs imo. But may come VERY close, even so that it doesn't matter anymore. Well, of course all synths have their own sonical character, but looking at the absolute sound quality..
Then of course, Virus has much more voices and features, so feature-wise it's a no brainer. The ease of programming is important too, and though Anrdomeda looks pretty, just thinking about tweaking the first sounds out of it makes my head hurt. Virus looks like it would be easier to learn to program.
Also, I don't actually need another keyboard at the moment, there's hardly even room for it in my home studio. So it seems Virus Ti desktop would be a better choise.
Then again, I must wonder if I should get S/H Virus C off the eBay and spend the money I'd save on something else..like the Creamware Minimax I've been wanting to buy for it's snappy envelopes and great warm bass sounds.

Yes, it's 16 voice polyphonic, 2+2 osc / voice, 16 part multitimbral and you can use all 64 oscillators on one voice in unison mode, or divide them any way you like between the 16 parts. Also each oscillator can play all the available waveforms at the same time.
