To be honest, you should be able to get by just fine with Logic's built in plugin suite. IMO, Logic's built in effects and instruments are the finest offered with any DAW. I find myself using Logic's built in plugins far more often then the various 3rd party plugins I own.

I agree.. After spending a few weeks with logic, I'm really impressed with the quality of the stock plugs. However, I have zebra 2 aswell - and it's a bad ass synth. So if you want a really good all round synth, that can make a huge variety of sounds - this is it.

moog modular is great to have. it's much more advanced and may require some getting used to/learning

I kind of wish I owned Logic for the Ringshifter and Sculpture plug-ins. I only get a chance to play with them when I use my friend's computer.

i love all of arturias plugins, though i can't say i've tried gladiator or any of fabfilter's synths.
