Hi everybody,

Since some time I have had some problems with Cubase 3. It seems that with every track, I use a shitload of CPU (according to Cubase), however when I look al my winXP taskmanager, the CPU usage is barely 20% while the Cubase CPU Meter says its around 90%.

Does anyone know how this is possible?

I have a 2x2.8 Intel Xeon processor, so they should be able to take a hit.

I had a similar problem with my Dual Core CPU.

Task bar showed no significant usage while Cubase had like 80 %

It turned out my Wireless card was draining CPU unnoticed.

When i deactivated that all turned to normal.

Deactivating should be enough, if that is the problem.
