is this digital distribution (beatport, itunes ect) or physical distribution (cds and vinyl)?

i've found that the numbers for the two tend to be quite different

50% for digital releases is good actually. A lot of labels offer only 40%. I found one that offers 60%. Not like it's going to matter much, with the low volume of sales.

the people i'm about to sign with are gonna give me 70%

50s pretty good, but realistically I doubt you'll ever see any of it, its amazing how much is lost in "promotional costs"
