if i bounced a track in 24 BIT - WAV basically the usual from logic.
and someone converted it to 16 bit.
would the file lose much integrity? would it sound worse or is the difference not noticeable.?
i know i could just bounce in 16bit wav. but im just curious if i didnt and then converted it from 24 to 16?
cheers
JC

just curious if i submitted something thats 24 bit and they did the convert if it would lose anything.
Not knowing anything about your listening setup... my guess is that as long as whatever you're using to convert applies some dither, you probably won't notice a difference.

Don't you dare open that can of worms Chris (even though you're absoltuly right).....
