MIDI over USB.
Eh, I'm not really familiar with the hardware that much, so I have to ask this. What does this mean exactly, what are the limitations/inconveniences?

It means that you can send MIDI directly to it from your DAW via USB, without the need for a separate MIDI interface.
I'm surprised it took Moog this long to make something like this.

I come from the digital era, I cant wrap my head around spending 700$ for a synth like that, this thing is not versatile enough for me to spend 700$ on, I wish they made something that didn't target synth nerds.
Sure it makes fatter bass than my sylenth1 but I don't give a shit I don't need fatter bass it doesn't make my music better. I need something that sounds good and that I can make a wide variety of sound with. I allready know what I get with a moog, a very distinct sound that sounds good but doesn't bring anything new.
That's how I feel about pretty much every moog synth, love the sound but it never convinces me.
I wish they made something more ''interesting'' (imo, of course, before the raging moog fans come at me loll)

That's OK, I come an analogue era and I can't either. But, there's not a doubt in my mind that the Moog lovers will buy every one of them in no time. Apparently, it's a very limited production, but I haven't seen the actual number of units that they are going to produce.

Considering how essential a good bassline is in EDM music, I don't think it's narrow-minded at all to have one thing that does this extremely well.
Seems like this will complement a Virus or other workhorse type synth extremely well. I'm about 50/50 on this right now and may pick one up when it gets released.
