Any ideas on the best Monitor speakers for music production in the £80-140 price range.

don't think you'll find much for that.. you can try tannoy or behringer, they may do some small ones. or 2nd hand ones perhaps..

I think it may be best to put more money in the piggybank and go for the Alesis Monitor 1's. Has anyone had any experience with these?

yeah i think the alesis look quality! never heard them but from people ive spoken too also say they are pretty good!

i think one set has an inbuilt amp though i think they are nearer £300!

sounded real good. they were also recommended by airwave.

other good ones are tannoy reveal active, alesis m1 active, behringer truth B2031 (bit cheaper) and maybe some mackie hr824 if you have a lot of money
