Terms when describing electronica and production

I know you guys are fed up with these newbie questions, (but I want to find a list of some where were I can find the terms) some of them I learned while chatting and reading but some I just can't get what they are... for a while I called drum rolls fillers, and didn't get at first what the heck were snares, I've been reading some stuff on electronica (brief history, diferent genres) but it rarely talks about that kind of stuff. bye

Well it would be nice that if you know some words in this matter just put them inside, I could then compile it and make another thread for it to help others in the future
