I have a korg triton le61 which i am selling it has been used about 5 times in mint condition with all manuals and video and memory card also selling it for 900.00 you pay the shipping if you have paypal lets work something out if you are interested.

They're definitely good machines, but maybe you would like to have a look at some a little more analogue based. Something where you will get a bit more control over the sounds.

Unfortunately, there's not much for 2 grand. You can try hunting in the trading post and on ebay but usually, it Australia there is jack shit. There are some places that sell second hand gear over the net though.

Names like Access, Novation, Waldorf, Clavia, Roland jp-8080, are some things to look out for.

The Access Virus KC very nice indeed. thats what im looking for, gonna have to break the budget for that one around $4000 AUD.

I gotta know how to use Reason properly before i buy a synth that is 4000+ otherwise it would be just sitting there.

JP-8080 has no keys.
JP-8000 has keys but less polyphony and no unison mode.

Virus KC is well beyond your budget by the looks of it. You can get a Virus C for around $2,900 in Aus. At least that's what I paid for mine, but that's without keys.

Maybe you could flirt with software for a while. It doesn't sound as good in my opinion but it does the job, especially while you wait for the money for good hardware. You can get something like a Korg MS-2000r for about $1,300 new, but again, no keys.

I don't know what the conversion rate is for Australian Dollars and Euro's, but you can get a Acces Virus KC here in Holland for about 1500-1750 euro...

Pretty expensive still though...
