Umm go to the Steinberg website, check it out, and than go to the Emagic web site and read some more.. Than I am sure you'll find what you're looking for.. Besides how hard is that... Most software companies have a complete info what their software can do, and they eaven have comparison charts that's shows a potential product buyer what they have that the competition dosn't. That should be enough, after all you found out about this forum/site, I don't see any problem going on google and looking up for your info.. it's really simple. I am not flaming you, just getting You in the right direction, Pece out.. have fun ...

Isn't Logic better for Macs?

Logic used to be available on both platforms, then Apple bought it, and 6.x is OS X only. I don't believe you can buy 5.5 for windows anymore.

I find the different sequencers a matter of taste and what you've learned with. I learned on Cakewalk (well to be entirely truthfull my first sequencing was with hardware sequencers back in the late 80's, an MMT8 and then a 01/wfd) so it's naturally easiest for me to use sonar now. If you are new to sequencers then you might want to try some demos or even warez (illegal copies) and see which one meets your needs before buying.

Some people on here classify flp and reason as sequencers, they have the ability, but are much more geared to a different work flow. I prefer to use flp and reason as instruments to create samples for my productions and then import them into Sonar where I can manipute them and combine them easier.
