I'm a newbie

Want i'm looking for is a program I can use to make the all important beat of the song, right now i'm using synapse orion, is there any vst plugins or stand alone program??

The beat or the bassline? These are two seperate things. To get the beat, you can use either a sampler or a drum machine. There are many samplers out there, but to start, you could have a look at Halion, Kontakt and Battery. If you want to synthesize your beats, then try something like Waldorf Attack.

You will get the best results with a sampler and some good percussion samples though

what the hell did you just say here? could improve your english ...
anyway, orion is a software studio, and it has everything included in him - ultran (drum synth), wasp (synth), drums (drum sampler, you will need to find some drum samples on the net first - there-s a sh*tload of them out there), monobass (simple bass/lead synth), xr909 (drum machine) and some more. so, you do not need any additional software to start making tracks. there is a whole bunch of vst effects and synths on the net, check www.kvr-vst.com
