Urgent help - Part II.

As I haven't done a jackass nor can I do anything I wonder.. how did you as a pro and hard producing trance artist.. get here!? At the beginning.. didn't you know nothing? How did you start knowing what to do in order to get thoose phat sounds? And how did you start composing so lovely tunes where 10 different instruments make up an uplifting tune!? Did you start like I did.. reading everything and then just hiting the MIDI keyboard and playing around with settings untill you finished up with something? Because this is what I'm doing now but I still don't get nowhere! I can't produce a thing.. not a sound so how the hell am I supposed to make full length tracks!? aaaaahhhhh I'M DESPERATE!!!

you have to give it time...I've been producing for well over 4 years now and I have completed like 5 tunes (although I have loads of half finished tracks)

a tip is to just play around and read up on everything you can find on the net (f.e. check out the stickys here)

just remember that it takes time, it took me 4 years to get where I am today (wich is basicly getting the tunes to sound fairly pro)

[edit]

forgot one thing, if you don't have any knowledge at all in music theory I suggest you try to find some info on that too on the net, it helps a lot

Also studying "famous" tracks can be very helpful.

Just listen eg. your favorite track how it is building up. etc.
