Removing Glitch?

How would you use Acid Pro 4 to remove a glitch in a track that you purchased? I recently purchased The Rising Sun from Playittonight.com and there is a glitch in the track. The glitch is small, and I don't want to hassle with playittonight, I just want to remove the glitch, and reburn the cd. You know what is weird though? You cannot hear the glitch when playing the track using windows media player. You only hear it when you burn the cd and play the cd in a cd player or a cd deck. I'm pulling my hair out with this problem, thats why I just want to use Acid Pro to remove it, and be done with it. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

If nothing is wrong with the track when your playing it on your pc. Its probally your burning program or the cd's or something that may be causing it. What type of glitch are you talking about? Skips, stops, cracks? If you dont see it in the actual song, it may not even be the song. I use sound forge and you could tell if theres a glitch on the actual song in there really easy.

Its sort of like a pop sound. On my mixer it will even jump into the red when it does it. It only happens once in the track for like a millisecond, but its annoying as hell. You can definatly hear it, and it is in the percusion part of the song that I mix into with another track. Anyway, what type of burning software would you suggest? Thanks again for your help.

Well for burning I just use the one that came with my burner, nero. If its a popping sound. I know the waves bundle has a plugin that is suppose to fix pop/clicks but i've never used it personally so im not positive. Im not sure of any others though and the waves plugins arent cheap I know that but they have some good stuff. My friend uses one of the bundles.
