Emagic AMT 8 vs. Edirol UM-880 - please advise
Question for those who may know.
I'm currently running on Edirol UM-880 MIDI interface and bought Emagic AMT 8 on sale in Sam Ash for $150. My buddy swears by AMT 8 - saying they have the tightest timing around. But I wanted to solicit some opinions before I decide which one to keep. I haven't opened AMT 8 box as of yet, so, I haven't done an actual comparisson.
Wondering if anyone has experience with AMT8 on XP platform with Cubase. I want to hook it up via USB but don't know if it stable and reliable.
So, I guess I am looking for someone to convince me if AMT 8 is worht the switch.

And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true. |
