Noobish question

Sorry about this rather stupid question im not a n00b producer but i was wondering can you control say the Fruity Mixer settings with an external mixer? Like the new firewire onyx mixer, volume, frequencies and such? Or no?

So i an connect my Onyx when i buy it, via firewire and be able to control my fruity mixer settings externally with the onyx sliders and knobs?

Yes, but you must link mixer faders to the one on the controller using "Link to controler" option from the right-click menu
