can you integrate ableton with serato scratch live? i love the idea of creating tracks and stuff, but can i play those tracks on serato scratch live AND can i use the midi contorller on the fly while i'm spinnin on serato scratch.

could i create/remix a track, play it on serato scratch, and use the middi controller (improv) while i had the track playing on serato scratch? could a computer handle these programs running together?

yes you can!

pvd does the same actually but without midi keyboard (but you can use it on the fly yes). Although your best to use 2 laptops for the seperate programs. the timecode in serato syncs ableton with it.

I know serato scratch has reccomended specs for a PC to run their program, but if i were to use serato and ableton together on 1 laptop, would i have to get a better PC than the one serato scratch reccomends for its program, or would i have to upgrade the memory or something...

ps. this is prob a stupid question, but where would i plug in the midi controller if i were using serato and ableton? i know FINAL scratch has a place to plug in a midi controller, but i dont think SERATO scratch does....

yes you have to get a very good computer, also im not sure but you may need 2 sound cards if using 1 comp anyway cause depend if 1 sound card can take 2 different applications at one time. MIDI keyboards or controlers are done via USB alot now so you dont have to worry about to mush hassle with setting up. cause it loads the drivers stright up. i suggest a usb compatible midi keyb.

im not sure what you would want to control in serato, but you would only most likely be using the midi keyboard in ableton since it is music prod tool.
