anyone recon vangard limits productivity?

hey guys.

what you recon about this?

i find myself sometimes using vangard and it makes my tracks sound really generic. im sure loads of synths have the same affect in making software users sound like they are trying to copy big name producers.

i have started to wonder if it is possible to make a completely new sound anymore.

what you guys think?

Yes, it is still very easy to make new, very creative sounds. First thing you need to do is get away ultra simplistic subtractive synths and get into higher quality synths that have much more control over it. Synths with mod matrixes or are modular are the best way to go if you are looking to be able to create totally original sounds. After that, foxus on the types of FX you use on the sound because ultimately, the final output is what matters.

Cheers,
Zac
