Is it possible/practical to use Cubase VST for producing if you don't have any hardware? the VST plugins sound good, and i was just wondering if this is a good idea.

Cubase VST is a great tool for producing. Along with Logic and Nuendo it's probably the most used sequencer. U should try them all and use the one that you like best. I use Cubase with VST instruments and no other hardware, and it works great
