Question about sampling

Ok, when I get done programming my synth to my liking and a sample, i.e. making a bass sound. I go to render it to a .wav format, ok the sample comes out sucessfully, but when I put it into the piano roll and try to put it on different notes, the sound plays @ the exact same note that the sample was rendered to. I read the FL Manual and I didn't find anything about it.

So does anyone know how to fix this problem?

in your sampler you'll need to set a range for your sample. so, say you sample it at C3. you can set the root note of the sample to be C3 and then set the range to be C2-C4 so that you can play notes higher and lower than the sampled note.
