Satan (eek!) searching for ableton/logic users

Is there anybody who uses live 5 or logic 7 as a sequencer out there because i would like to share some opinions,experiences,etc with him?

sup .... using logic 5 here (maybe upgrade to 7 with a frankstein Intel mac l8r ), tried the demo of ableton but logic is still my main squeeze

do you mainly use logic for production?and by the way logic 7 is the sequencer that will make you take out the most from your ideas.

the version i have has some shortfalls, 7 would be so much better (i.e. a proper drum editor, although this can still be acheived with logics hyper editor) but can do a complete production with it. The reason I like logic more is how it handles and draws automation within its GUI afaik, no other app has the same directness of logic when it comes to automation editing, no need to scroll through tons of windows.

Logic 5.5 here. never wanted to change to anything else. tried others but as someone said. The automation is nice and simple. and just everything to me is large and has just a better interface in my opinion. Just simple and can get shit done.. Honestly i feel as if FL studio sounds better

Logic sounds the same to me as any ASIO driven vst app when using its ASIO engine. Only difference being if using logic's EASI driver then the bass seems more spiked and the mids are lowered slightly, hence EASI blows imho. Heard Logic has/is dropping EASI for 'ASIO only' so they must agree
