need help with making a simple bassline

i got my synth for a while .. Yamaha CS6R .. and for my tracks bassline I cant seem to find the correct bass.. I just wanna use the bass sound that is used in many trance tunes.. the one right after the bass drum .. "boom'wown' boom'wown'" that one hahaha hope that makes sense.. but I cant seem to make that bass out I wonder if someoen can help me.. its like a low bass but then still clear.. the ones i use r so rough .. argh.. it just sounds so awful ..

hate to say it, but it could be your synth.. I personally have never used the CS6R, but maybe its not built for making those crazy basslines.

it is very hard to say.. considering I've never used your synth. I have heard it's a great synth for trance.. and so you'd think it would have some good bass. especially for it's price. I assume you've scrolled through all it's factory preset sounds.. and tested each one out. So.. I really don't know what to tell you. You could try taking a trance Lead sound, turning down the frequency alittle, and playing a low note. But, I dont think this would give you what you're looking for, though.

Generally that's an acid type sound with the envelope turned up.
