sounds like they used synths with layering and kept the lower notes to beef it out some what.

its almost imposable to tell how anyone goes about making their tracks because they have learned how to get the best out of the daw and hardware being used.

It could be layered with a blip playing the same notes? Or maybe the highs ran through a transient shaper to bring out the attack of the pluck even more.

The lead sounds like just a sin wave from what i can hear on my ipod headphones Well at least for about the first 3 min of the track then it sounds like a normal saw with what junky said.

sounds like a simple pluck easily achievable with a subtractive synth or whatever you prefer.

The detune sounds like its going through a comb filter thats just automating its frequency and res a little.

Reminds me of the effect I've gotten by routing an input signal into the Malstrom's filter in Reason.
