Remix Opportunities (for you)
Before we get started, I'm looking for ALL genres of remixes. Ambient, Electro, Breaks, DNB, Nu-Disco, Trance, House, etc. (No hip hop, R&B, etc)
I'm looking for some solid remixes done on the following tracks below. If you need to hear more before deciding if you're interested, just let me know. I do ask that you have a portfolio so I can hear what you've done. I know this goes without saying, but I can't send out sources to people to toy with or people that I think might not fit the mold for what we are looking for. I WILL listen to posted MySpace tunes to see if the interest is mutual. I'm going to list these tracks in order of desire for remixing. There will be an RAR file at the bottom where you can download and listen to the tracks to help you make your decisions. And before we go any further, there are no advancements and it is a boilerplate 50/50.
1. TasteXperience - Hydewood
-This track is currently "on hold" as it has been designated to be the first Beatport release for Olympik Records. Because of this, there is no technical deadline. It could be in 2 weeks or 2 months but I'm guessing 4-6 weeks. I've actually got a nice package comprised of the original and two remixes, but I want more. The original is downtempo and can be heard on our MySpace. The Invisible Sounds remix is Progressive Trance and along with the other remix from Greg James. It is an audio only source.
2. Tom Day - Signal / Determination
-This is a very fast rising artist guys. Trust me. I've had around 5-6 international, big name DJs say they will be supporting one of the two tracks and I sent it out less than a week ago. This is going to be a nice release. We've also got another VERY good track we're about to license for future release, so there is even more potential to work with Tom. You can
3. Mikey W - Vibrate / Habituate (Final Mastering not complete) - Very good tracks here fellas. Not much else to say. The originals will be released first and then of course the remixes, however we would love for the remixes to be done as soon as possible for promotion, etc. (I mail out our entire catalog in audio format every 2 months to 6 different DJs across the globe so they get mega advanced promotional music already burned and published using a CD publisher.)
4. Foursii - See You In London
-This is a very good track that I felt did not get the respect (sales) it should have. I think another round of promotion along with a good remix will yield very good results.
5. Rysh Paprota - So where is the Megalodon? - The deadline for this is June 17th, so you'll need to move rather quickly if you're wanting to do this one. It is a very minimal melodic sound. I'm looking for a very strong and melody driven track to go along with the more minimal sound.
