what is the standard for dance music?(cubase?)(protools?)

how do ppl make remixes do they get a dat tape withthe original or a cd with a saved cubase file


what software do tiesto ferry avb use?

there is no standard and it doesn't matter anyways. If you go inside Ferry Corstens very own studio, does NOT mean you can reproduce his sound. See what program works for you.

protools = no good for dance music

PvD and AvB use logic interfaced with protools (unnecesary in my opinion, but whatever)

But I'd say cubase is the most widely used.

When you remix a song you get a cd with a bunch of wave files on it.

since artist who do remixes get ASKED to do them, it's pretty common for them to just tell the original artist what they need like "give me that vocal and the bassloop". Who needs a midi file if you've got a state-of-the-art set of EARS. You're not gonna remake the song, you're gonna remix it.

Cubase SX is the standard for trance music at the moment b/c I use it.....j/k

been said time and again. its not what you use but more of how you make use of it
