FYI - it's the public beta, not the official release. I downloaded it Wednesday, but then took a look at the comments over on infekted.org and saw that not all is well with it yet. Apparently, the slow GUI issue in W7 hasn't been fully resolved yet either. So, I'm holding off for now since I've got some projects in the works using the TI. Would love to hear some feedback from the guinea pigs, though!

So far it works great for me : Mac Pro OSX 10.5.8 Virus TI1
Instead of Analog Boost you can now select Speaker Cabinet Emulation and I have to say its the best one I've ever heard ... or at least one of the very best. It sounds great in a synth which is most important.
Also new spicy distortions are very nice and really give a lot of new rocky flavors to play with. Also you can modulate stuff with arp, which works and its cool.

Have you experienced the slow GUI issue? i.e., when you click a button, move a control parameter, switch tabs, etc. there's a lag/pause. It looks like OS4.0 has fixed it for some people, but not everybody.

it was very slow in the first few OS3 releases. then it improved a lot. but the OS4 is still as laggy as the last OS3 releases though. but it's usuable for me.

In the brief testing I did with it last night, I wasn't all that impressed by the stompboxes. It just seemed like more distortion modes? I guess I was just expecting something more over the top.
