Sylenth Problem when recording

I recently got Sylenth 2.2 and i really love it. However when i tweak the buttons and choose sound and then press record it just goes back to the default setting preset. Why does this happen? It also occurs when it starts playing the sequencer notes. I use Ableton live 8 with Vista. Thanks!

here here...

i've had this problem before. it's actually your midi clip that's causing the problem. if you double click and go into the piano roll, on the left bottom you should see the stats and options and whatnot for the midi clip. there, under the notes category, you should see three options; bank, sub-bank, and program. if any of those are set to "1", then there's your problem. set all of them to "None".

voila, problem fixed

well...i believe this is what your problem was? haha
