I'm looking for where these kicks come from. I've searched through my library and couldn't find anything. Cosmic Gate seem to use them a lot and they're all over the new First State album.

Does anyone know where I could get these kicks. Are they from some sample library?

I have some of those trough the cd that came with The Secrets of House Music Production from Sample Magic and I think something like Minimal House from Vengeance might fit your needs.

that's not a very particular kick, it's more a uplifting trance kick, but he uses a lot this technique explained here:

Why don't you just sample from one of those songs.

I did.
And I found it, it's pretty much the same kick on every track, just EQed differently or added a hat/noise etc...
So I'm gonna work from there; use that one kick and eq it, layer it etc and see what I come up with. Too bad that the hihat is already on there :\

I'm still waiting for my email so I can demo Metrum btw... That thing looks amazing, but too fucking expensive for what it does.
