ughhh...facepalm. Tell your friend that there is no best or worst DAW (as you're kicking him in the nuts, preferably). If Ableton does the job for you and you like its workflow, stick with it. Thank you very much for pointing out what I believed to be true. My friend said to me, samples and loops makes the music sound flat which can be true, but I see that it can be if not used right. I'm starting to mess around with plug-ins and I got a few demos off the internet.
