something wrong with the bass/levels?

My first house track, im not really happy with the low end here. Can you give me some directions, i would like the bass to be a little softer maybe. Edit: and listening it again, i mean the low end, i think it should be a little softer and "rounder" without losing a punchiness.

What about the other sounds in the mixdown, something too loud or bright? Something is wrong here but i cant tell what or why, it just doesnt sound right to me..

hmmmm maybe try messing around with the waveform if you want a softer sound......a sine wave might do that.

you could play around with the EQ to try and remove some of the lower FQ that are adding mud to your sound. and if you want the transient to remain perhaps a different compression setting is required

a fatter kick drum will probably go a long way in helping your mix. since the melody already sounds like a pryda rip-off, why not just steal his kick too.

i wasn't really kidding, your kick drum sucks and is the main reason your mix sucks. find a new one. find a new clap as well.
