I was wondering what people thought of the best ways to structure the learning process?, at the moment I am getting up and I have that much stuff to watch/read I just end up doing a mish mash of stuff someday's, or will work on say practicing basslines/melodies or getting to grips with some aspect of reason or music theory,

So I have all this stuff to learn but I am unsure of what would be the best order to focus on stuff, Only being doing it 2 months so am very much a noob even though I have been into the music since the early 90's and started dj'ing late 90's (stopped around 2007 as grew sick of where the music seemed to be going and there was far too many ''average'' tracks and utter shite coming out on a daily basis).
Have almost finished my first ''track'' and will upload that for some advice/feedback but In the meantime wanted to get peoples opinions on the learning process.

How would you structure your learning if you were just starting out now? what would you focus on firstly and what would you learn later on for instance learning a little bit of basic music theory has helped me start to learn how to compose bass/leads/pads otherwise I would just be bashing on keys hoping to get lucky so certain things tie in with the other stages and help to learn that skill.

Must have missed them pal, but I have not been lazy have been through the first 30 pages on here so far, My main question was.
For the people with a fair bit of time served like yourself
If you were just starting out what would you concentrate on first, I haven't seen that question or answer thus far (a couple of topics touched on it, and I took from that to split learning ie one day just practicing composing (creative stuff) and another on more technical stuff also to Just for time being make noob tunes and get things finished rather than having a hd full of half finished crap and a load of loops, instead of trying to sound pro
but There is so much to learn I just want to avoid totally overwhelming myself and wondering what I could learn further down the line rather than bits and bobs of everything so my brain isn't so cluttered

for instance would learning sound design and synthesis be better a few months down the line and things like more music theory or should I learn them all at once in bits ?

I apologize if I have missed where this has been discussed and its a daft question, just wanted to get some advice.

Which is why i said, you want to improve, quit being a lazy ****. That is probably step 1. Until you get past that hurdle, no point asking for advice.

Primary focus should be making music, instead of theorycrafting your learning order just start and figure out what skills you are lacking on the road.
