Hello! Help getting started

hi, i want to start making my own trakcs, mainly techno as of now. So can someone help a newbie out in this field by telling me what i need and where i can get it? all i have if frutyloops as of now, i know its nothing but i want to learn. So, please help me out..dont know if this has ben posted before if so i will gladly delte it

you said you have fruityloops. Ok. Lock yourself in a room with it and some samples for a year and come out. Till then that'll do just fine! (it's not nothing btw, it nothing short of a full fledged sequencer by now)

I agree, use what you have.

Start messing with FL and learn some basics from it. Then when you've got FL down, start getting into other programs like ACID 4.0 and Reason 2.0. With those three programs you should easily be able to make techno/trance songs.

Yep.

Add WaveLab/CoolEdit/Some other wave editor and some mastering plugins and you have everything you'll need

buy a 2nd hand (virtual) analog synth with a lot of knobs, you'll learn a lot from it
