seeing as im gonna be travelling for a few months im gonna need an mp3 player to take with me.
ive looked into them a bit but still am yet to decide which one to go for.
i wanna be able to store photos on it as well as use it to record mixes. there are so many out there i dont know which one will best suit me. im thinking something with 4 to 6gig space will be perfect.
any recommendations?

Sandisk Sansa 6gb and get the optional 2 GB microSD for expansion to 8.
One of the best on the market....been using mine whilst skiing, travelling etc. and no dramas. Only minor issue with most mp3 walkmans and travel is that you'll need a 240v charger....most rely on USB from your pc :\
nikko regarding a charger....if they don't have one as an accessory for the player, just go to a pc store and buy a USB hub that has a power adaptor...that way, you plug it into the wall, it has power, then plug your device into it, it will think its plugged into the pc to charge....easiest fix if you struggle to find a travel type charger for any said player
good luck! let me know if you need a hand with this before you leave.

Looks like the Belkin Voice adapter has a line-in jack - meaning that you could record a mix into an ipod this way Niko. I'd do a little more research first (i just googled)

Ive got a creative zen vision m. It was the best on the market imo, when i bought it 8 months ago.
I just right click on whatever i want to put on it through winamp. Or drag and drop using windows explorer.
I dont see why so many people take music players with them while travelling. Dont you lose a huge part of the experience by not soaking up the sounds around you? Fair enough on the plane i guess, but otherwise.....
