In Asutralia how much should I pay for good needles and cartridges. I need some new ones and I thought you guys might have a better idea of the Aus market rather than them on the DJ Booth.
Whats good/bad?
I need something that isnt too expensive but good! I'm on a tight budget!

Have a check of ebay there seems to be some bargains on there lately in the prof audio section.

prob between $50 - $120, and $130 - $250 for them concordes

You can get the black concords at sanity dance arena, (i go to the one in bourke street) for $140 ish but check the specs on the ortofon site first to see which one you want. I love the concords, damn fine carts. I also use a pioneer cart which is pretty nice and not quite as expensive as the concord (also has a better frequency response range, but the tracking isn't as good) 6mc i think it is. The ortofons will last you for at least half of forever. If you want something cheaper i know lot's of people who use stanton 500al's which seem to be ok and cost half as much as the concords, the don't seem to last as well though.

anyone know where I can get a replacement crossfader for a Pioneer mixer (DJM-300S )in AUSTRALIA???????? Preferably in Sydney, NSW.
