Terror attacs, H.I.V. injections ... every year we hear new rumors about what will happen at Loveparade and if the Loveparade will take place! But this year it looks seriously bad!
Last year the organisatores found an agreement with the city of Berlin that the Loveparade can have their known route till 2006 but the Loveparade has new problems! Because of the reason that the Loveparade is no official demonstration anymore the organisatores have much higher costs. The costs for this years Loveparade will be around 1.5 million euro. This money the organisatores don't have! Last years Loveparade made already a deficit, the Loveparade has no money anymore! There is still missing a big sponsor for this years Loveparade!
If the Loveparade will not find a big sponsor asap there will be no Loveparade this year in Berlin!!!!!
The organisatores said that a decision if the Loveparade will take place this year will happen in the next 4 weeks!

08-04-2003 -LOVEPARADE WILL GO ON!- Planetcom has found a co-organizer for Loveparade Berlin on July 12th. Messe Berlin (the exhibition centre where Lovestern Galaktika is held) will be main sponsor. They can benefit from the goodwill that the event created over the last years, while Loveparade can make full use of Messe Berlin's know-how.
