I wouldn't go that far I was lucky enough to be at that gig but yeah, dunno about set of the year...

I personally cannot get into his sound myself (which is why i probably don't think it's set of the year ) I just find that he plays sets made up of a lot of fillers, rather than 'progressing' through to anything. His sets (what i have heard anyway) have all the properties of much of the progressive that turned people away from the sound around 2001 (one dimensional, single geared etc), they're just a little more housey, and with a few 'cooler' samples (like the stuff he does with Blue Monday on Balance).

I would really ne interested to see if anyone agrees with me after Saturday. I can't go as i will be at earthcore, but yeah lemme know what you think

my tastes are changing quite a bit lately though; my two favorite sets from 2004 were Nick Warren @ TLV Tel Aviv and Andrew K - Live at the Falls Festival to put it into perspective. Both farking amazing sets...
